Amigo The Devil Milwaukee Concert reviews
Play your own songs, Keep politics out of it
This was the worst concert experience I have ever had. Firstly, play your own songs! Amigo The Devil had many good songs way back when, and without a new album, you would think this was a tour to reunite the group and get their fans excited about them again by playing old hits but no, they played more cover songs than their own. And it wasn't even generally well-known cover songs - I didn't know any of them, and no one around me was singing along.
Stand up, it's a concert, people. Well, originally I thought this, but since we didn't know the many cover songs and they were so busy exploiting their opinions on us instead of entertaining, I ended up sitting down too. And I NEVER sit down at concerts - I think it's disrespectful and boring to sit.
I get you have your political opinions. I remember why Dixie Chicks fell out of the limelight. Whether I agree with your opinions or not is not important. Keep your political opinions to yourself - and this goes for all "celebrities". You are not politicians, you have no degree or real knowledge to be able to say anything on any of the matters, they are your opinions, so keep them to yourself. I did not go to a concert to hear your opinions, I went for music entertainment, a light-hearted night out with some old favorite hits. I can't support you anymore.
Bye Bye DC.
